Cure with Care

Current and future generations should have access to effective prevention and treatment of bacterial infections as part of their right to health.

China and Sweden in collaboration
against Antibiotic Resistance

On April 28, Swedish minister of public health Maria Larsson, visited her Chinese colleague Huang Jiefu, vice health minister, in Beijing to work out a joint strategy to halt antibiotic resistance. A large number of Swedish and Chinese experts participated in the meeting.

The two countries now set out to launch a joint initiative to address this serious problem. It is however not only to exchange knowledge and help to each other, there is also an ambition to promote the issue in international contexts.
